attributes in use - indicate in attribute settings

I would love to see an indication of which attributes are used IN the attribute editor, not only in the attribute manager.
it seems unnecessary to jump back and forth between the attribute manager and attribute editor just to check which pens, fills, surfaces, etc. are bing used. [checkbox column in att man]. If I am editing a surface, and am uncertain wether it is actually 'in use', I have to double check via the attribute manager every time? so clunky!

Or if the attribute palette could show the used attributes that would be handy as well, because the attribute palette can remain open while you have the attribute settings open as well.

In fact you can double click an attribute in the palette to open the attribute settings.

If the Attribute Manager could handle Folders, I would never use the Palette as it falls short in every other aspect...
