Cloud licensing for AC 27

Hi All

We are still waiting for the v27 API update to allow cloud licensing via the API..

The link below introduces the v26 update..  but we are still waiting for the v27 update (Unless I am missing something)

Any information on the time frame would be appreciated.

Hey Ben,

Not that I know what I am talking about here, but from what I read in that post the identifiers should work in 27 but only for update 3 and above.

Or are those identifiers just not in the 27 API?

If you read a bit further down..

For Archicad 26 Update 5, we’ve just released an updated version of the API Development Kit, making these two new functions available. For Archicad 27, an updated development kit is expected to be released later this year, along with the Archicad 27.3.0 update. Archicad 28 will be supporting this new user identification from day one.

The updated development kit is yet to be released.. So only 26 and 28 are supporting the cloud licensing... The current Dev Kit for 27 was released 'September 27, 2023'... so definitely not updated..

GDL in ArchiCAD 27.3.0 supports cloud licenses.. But the API... doesn't.

It is a bit like the global library mapping table.

Graphisoft bring in these new features, and they work fine for them, but they don't release anything to their customers to fully support these new features - at least not immediately when they are needed.

FYI The v27 Dev Kit was updated yesterday .. I am yet to test - but I am assuming it will work with cloud licensing.. will keep anyone interested posted, once I know..
