The apidevkit documentation has disappeared in API 27. Is this correct?

There is no chm file -- not needed.  The documentation is on the API Reference tab

I think the chm file is easy to see.
The moment you click on API_WalltypeID, only dozens of posts are visible.
Fortunately, it was at the top, so I thought I should now turn my attention to the top.
That's all there is to the explanation.
It's better, right?
