Hi,
I am trying to get BIMx to display on Nvidia's 3D Vision technology, which uses active glasses and a 120Hz monitor/projector to display games and CAD in 3D.
This previous post suggests that it is not compatible at present:
http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=205504However the specification of niltonpr's computer does not support Quad Buffered stereo output. A Nvidia Quadro graphics card is required for Quad Buffered stereo to be provided by the Nvidia 3D vision kit.
I have tried to get this to work but have not succeeded yet. I have an Nvidia Quadro graphics card so Quad Buffer should be supported but does not appear in the stereo view option when BIMx is open.
Has anyone been succesful in sorting this out? It would be extremely benificial if it was possible to generate 3D display using this technology as it is inexpensive and really effective in creating good quality 3D displays of CAD.
If this has not been tested/developed I strongly reccomend it is looked into and would be very interested to know when it may be available as a supported part of BIMx
Thanks
Henry
