Beam display settings

Hi.

Is is possible to change the display of a beam in plan view so that when it is set to an axis it still only displays as if it was upright?

So only the beams thickness is showing but the beam can remain modelled on an angle.

I have attached an image to help explain. The beam on the right is set to a 25° angle so it displays like it is but I would like it to display like the beam on the left.

Thank you.

Just curious at why you would want it to appear narrower? Sounds like a collision waiting to happen...

You can show just the axis (Model View Option setting).
