Historic Window Outside Casing Modelling

PaulC

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to make a project on a historic house, and I came across some issues regarding the outside casing of the historic windows. Is there some way of modelling the casing from the profile manager tool and applying it to the window settings? Or do I have to play with the morph tool? I'm trying to find an alternative to using the morph tool or the wall, column, or beam tool so as to not put a load on the project file and keep it running smoothly.
Thanks in advance

You probably already know that you can turn off the window casing and model a custom casing as a separate object.

For me, morphs are almost always just a temporary mode for what will become an object in the end.

You can always explode an object into morphs, modify it, then save it as an object again.

Hi @PaulC

Sometimes you have to use a combination of different tools to get what you need.

Maybe this video could help: https://youtu.be/o6kulM-wMIk?si=o96vF_F4AgwU_gWz
