BIMx PRO

what's up with Lachmi Khemlani getting the scoop on something called BIMx PRO.

What is it and what is the upgrade path from BIMx Docs?

Any link to this (or where you got the info from) or has it already been scrubbed from the interwebs?

Thanks Jared.

That's interesting.

I would guess it's the next version or the version 2.0 of what we now call HyperDocs, although that screenshot seems to show it's a Mac/iPad version, which I suppose means Android users would have to wait another year from the release of this version, for their version - if we're to go by their past development schedule.

It would be interesting to know what the upgrades and updates to this version are, or might be.
If I had to guess, I would say we probably won't know until (at least) the next ArchiCAD version (v19) release in a couple of months or so.

I'm hopeful that because some news is out in the wild that we won't have to wait too long.

I'm thinking she got out of reservation and went a little rogue, and probably got ahead of GS on this with a preview version they gave her for review purposes.

But since she didn't exactly spill any beans on any specific features, I suppose she also didn't technically break any NDA (if there was any).

I'm not sure if it will push GS to release any more information since this article really isn't out there, in terms of exposure and not that many people know about this.

I'd be more interested in knowing what they have in store for AC19, but I know we're a long ways away from that (or at least a couple of months), and I don't expect it to be any different with this neither.
Of course, you guys could just try Mr. Google. http://www.graphisoft.com/learning/online-seminars/registration.html

I don't really see any additional information there is that that page provides which wasn't in the original Khemlani article, and which we were seeking.

All that that tells us is that GS have rebranded BIMx DOCS to BIMx Pro.

It says nothing about any new features or upgraded tools (if any), which is kind of what we were hoping to find out.
Registered. Thanks Richard!
