Hi,
This is not a question, but rather a thought or a quest for knowledge from the GS community.
Last week a client purchased BIMcloud to be installed in his office for the main purpose of being able to perform model reviews in BIMx with messaging functionality. A public IP was created and added to the list of possible addresses for the Manager and Server components of BIMcloud. Everything worked well for collaboration except the messaging functionality within BIMx, since it did not allow the connection of the user.
The problem was the BIMx file was appearing with the local network IP address and not the public IP address.
The solution was to change the public IP as the primary address in BIMcloud components.
Would it be possible for the BIMx models to also maintain the option to have multiple alternate IP addresses so that this would not happen? Or maybe I was doing something wrong...

Ricardo,
The relationship between the BC and the LAN setup, has always been tricky.
Can I ask why you did not choose a FQDN instead of an IP address?
That way at least you have more flexibility in case something changes without having to reset the BC components...?

Yes, that could be a solution. We will try it.
Thank you.
