We tend to switch off the PLN backups for that very reason altogether and rely on the automatic BIMprojects instead - ideally reduced to a manageable frequency, instead of the default... obviously it also depends on your overall backup strategy. Btw....

Sometimes the problem could be that the server module has disconneted from the manager module. One reason could be that the IP address of the computer has changed, since the the BCB was originally setup. Have you checked that yet?
