Hi

I am trying to save a file as BIMx to send to a client but when I go to 'save as' there is no option for BIMx as a file type.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

You don't save to BIMx, you Publish.

File->Publish BIMx HyperModel

Thank you for your response but when I go to my file drop down menu the 'BIMx HyperModel' is greyed out.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Are you doing it from the 3D Window?

BIMx is an add-on that is installed with Archicad (since version 17).

Check you Add-on Manager to see if it is or isn't installed correctly (I am guessing it is not).

See this post ... http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=253875

If it isn't then you can try installing the latest hotfix (upgrade) for Archicad - you don't say what version you are using.

If that doesn't work then the only other solution seems to be un-install Archicad and then re-install it.

Hi

Thank you for your input.

Forgive my ignorance but where is the Add-On Manager?

I am using ArchiCAD 18.

Hi,

I am using AC 18, I want to save the model for BIMx, I used File > save as > BIMx, it's not opening in the bimx file, Iit's just showing the progress. Early I could do this. But now it's not coming. Please reply.

Thank you

So you are not having trouble saving the BIMx file, it is the BIMx program just showing the loading progress?
Does it stop or are there any error messages?
Can you open BIMx without opening a file?
Can you open other BIMx files?
Can you crate a simple BIMx (say just 4 walls) and open that?

I am thinking that there is something in your model that BIMx doesn't like.
