Zone name for Skylights not appearing on on Schedules?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the zone name for a skylight to appear in the schedule? I have the skylights on roofs and each skylight is within a zone so not sure what I'm doing wrong...I've tried adding both the To Zone and From Zone field as well and nothing comes up....thank you.

I think you need to Trim the Zone body to the Roof the Skylight is placed into.
Then the From Zone /Zone Number and To Zone/Zone Number fields will return the correct values for the Skylights in the Schedule.
At least it works for me in AC21 build 5010.

Interestingly, according to my test, if you use the Crop Zone command instead of the Trim Elements to Roof/Shell command on the Zone, the fields will not return valid values. So you need to use the Trim Elements to Roof/Shell command.

I am supposing that the reason the Crop Zone command does not return a valid result is because this command does not create an associative connection between the Zone and the Roof it is cropped by.
And that the reason the Trim Elements to Roof/Shell command DOES return a valid result is because this command DOES create an associative connection between the Zone and the Roof it is trimmed by.

Thanks Laszlo - I'm not sure I know how to "Trim the Zone body to the Roof the Skylight is placed in" - would you be able to point me in the direction of a tutorial maybe or more information on how to try that? Thank you!

Hi Laszlo - thank you that worked I figured it out. I didn't realize you could view zones in 3D but when I clicked that option in the View 3D menu it showed up. I couldn't figure out how to get the zone to trim to the roof so I just manually raised it to intersect the roof and then the room names showed up after that in the From To box. Thanks again.

In 3D, select the Zone, then right-click and use the Connect\Trim Elements to Roof/Shell menu command from the context menu.

I have not tried your solution but then it seems if the Zone body intersects the Roof body to some degree, then valid values will be reported in the Schedule.
