Hi, I've downloaded 3dstudio in cookie and installed it in the add-on folder. The add-on manager tells me that it's loaded, however i can't see where it could be started from. Nothing appears in the Design/ Design Extras menu (where apparently it should be) or anywhere else Could you please advise me 'cause i'm really confused. Thanks in advance!
Hmm.. you mean Work Environment/Menus and then put it in the Design Extras menu or wherever i want, right? Ok, but from where could i get it and drag it in the dedicated menu
I now installed the Add-On and it placed for me to the File\File Special location in the menu.
By the way, when installed, you should list the available command by the "All commands by theme" option, and under "17 Add-Ons" you will find the "3D Studio In" folder.

The tutorial at the Graphisoft website says Design extra menu so I didn't figure out to check the File special menu It's there now. Thanks a lot, Laszlo
Yes, maybe there was a version when it was at that location, then later they thought it would be better in the File menu so put it there but the info on the web never got updated.
Can you tell me the URL you read this? I will drop a line to Graphisoft to update the info if possible.
