Archicad vs Autocad compatibility question for noob

Anonymous
Not applicable
I apologise if my question seems naive, but could anyone confirm whether an element (say a wall for example) can become smaller/bigger lenghtwise when exchanging DWG files between Archicad and Autocad ?

Since both programs use calculations instead of vectors, i would say no, but i would just need to be on the safe side.
(this of course while not altering the scale factor intentionally)

Everything will stay the same size but you need to make sure you are using the same units of measurement in both programs.
i.e. millimeters, meters or feet/inches, etc.
Otherwise all elements will be out of scale by the conversion factor between the different units.
