Hi there, I'm attempting to replicate a particular documentation method I used in my past life as a Revit user.
I recognise each program has its own unique philosophies and methodologies, so happy to be told to adjust my documentation approach.
Question: Is there a way to lock the distance between walls? I am modelling an existing structure, and in Revit would run a dimension string between all the parallel walls and then 'lock' those dimension so that the distance-relationship between those walls could not be altered.
Operating system used: Windows ArchiCAD 23

There is no relationship like that in Archicad.
But you can 'Group' elements and then as long as grouping is enabled, they will move together.
Barry.

Do note though that grouping walls like this and moving them will not stretch their connections with other walls.
