Heavy Surface libraries

Hi All, 

A question about surface images in Archicad.  
We are having issues with slow elevations and pdfs.   One thing that I have noticed during my explorations is we have some surfaces that have large image sizes.  I am assuming that these have a direct effect on the size and slow processing speed of the file.  But by how much? 

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

The issue with elevations and PDFs has got to do with how AC plots fills and to a greater extent, image fills... You can find many threads around here regarding the issue if you look up "flat PDF".

Regarding image sizes, good thing you are not loading anything by the likes of Arroway or such XD
