Avoiding non-ASCII characters in Wavefront .obj export

Hi,
I'm planning to build models and materials in my ArchiCAD 2010 SE, and render it in pre-set scenes in Blender. But Blender is a simple non-Windows program having problems with non-ASCII characters, resulting not finding material image maps in the Subdir "<model_name>_Textúrák" made by the ArchiCAD's Wavefront exporter.

1. Is there a possibility to change this string a more ASCII-friendly one? I haven't find such an option, is there a trick?

2. ASCII-friendly strings are a safe solution to exporting, let me suggest these ones.
