Calculate Volume

I had to help design a concrete column for a pier. This column has nothing regular about it (see image). I can import the SketchUp file into AC but my problem is that I need to calculate its volume. AC gives me the surface area but volume is 0.0.
Any help will be appreciated.

Shot in the dark - if it is a GDL object, try adding MODEL SOLID in the 3D script.

And I do that how?

Anyway I may have had found another way to do it with no GDL coding. If it works I will post it.
