Determining Height of Individual Skin in Complex Profile

Matt Balaam

Hi all,

We draw all of our walls using complex profiles with a standard house being made up of around 10 profiles and our entire library of profiles totalling around 240 (accounting for different frame type, wall material etc.). These are also sometimes modified for an individual house when required. I am looking at creating a property object that calculates the brick area of the wall regardless of any modifications to the profile, but so far have not found a way to calculate this.

My question is this, does anyone know of a way to determine the height of an individual skin in a complex profile? I can find the thickness of each skin but not the height. I have tried every global parameter I can think of with no luck. Hopefully someone has found a way to do this.

Thanks,

Matt
