i have been digging the forums for answers or even similar questions that others of you may have and unfortunately i wasn't able to find anything... i may have to dig deeper but as of the meantime please allow me to post my queries:
Issue 1:
I have a DW schedule that is calling DW on a hotlink file. Now, i wanted to put a custom text in one of its fields. Now since it is hotlinked, my problem lies where i cannot put any description in the custom text. Is there a work around it other than breaking the hotlinks?
Issue 2:
The project i am dealing with is considered to be a large scale project. We have DW that leads to different rooms and areas. In the schedule, the following fields are necessary to be collated and combined into a singular item: DW ID, Size, Quantity and lastly Location (zone dependent). I have no problem consolidating the ID, Size and Quantity. However, the location (zone dependent) is a pain. I understand that it will list down the zones (room names) uniquely hence giving me an individual entry per zone regardless of the uniform ID, Size and Quantity. Is there a work around this that i can have different zones listed in on one entry?
I would really appreciate the help. I would gladly elaborate more of the problem if you find it hard to understand or if this topic would interest you.
