When you generate a Door Schedule, notice that your Linear Dimension Tool is still enabled.
Set it to the settings (including font size) to the desired values, and then Add Automatic Dimensions. The Automatic Dimensions will use the settings currently in effect for Linear Dimensions.
This should be before turning on Automatic Dimensions. Later there is no easy way to change all of them in one step.
