I am trying to export an archicad model as a 3ds max file, the problem is that once I click save (after setting the units in mm and selecting export by material) it forever keeps loading (for hours). The archicad model is about 150mb and is a model of a house. I'm not sure if it is the size of the file that is taking forever or if it is something else. I have turned off some of the layers (i.e. wall accessories and trees) that I thought would result in high polygons. But I have had no luck yet in successfully saving a file - using an iMac with 8gb ram and i7 cpu so I would have thought this would not be an issue. Any ideas?
