Is anyone using the ftp uploader?
I have set it up today, and it is very handy to have emails sent automaticaly when publishing, but...

Why do the files get renamed??? Every time a publish on ftp i get this error message:

Why is this happening?

I didn't know you could publish to ftp directly. Thanks for that.
My ftp server (yahoo) does not take any weird characters in the file name, especially a space. I usually have to change the names manually myself, changing the spaces to the underscores. That might be the reason.
I know some ftp sites that doesn't have this limitation, but I guess GS is being on the safe side to make sure it works for everyone?

Well, my ftp server accepts weird characters including space, as i had never had any problem uploading them with Cyberduck.

Anyway, if thats the case GS should mention it, and give us the possibility to disable this function.

I started using this feature of AC, because its really handy to have everything done automatically (publishing-uploading-sending emails), but its really frustrating that the file names on the email do not correspond to the file names uploaded!

Dennis is right, our FTP uploader does support only traditional file name characters like numbers, letters and underscores, so in case you use this function name the layouts etc. like that.
