Finish Schedule?

Anonymous
Not applicable
For the doors and windows, I've used the lists or schedules in the navigator (and changed up the scheme settings a bit to reflect the info I want to show).

I don't see an option for finishes, though? I've created zones for each space I wish to list in the finish schedule (and each space for which I wish to create interior elevations, but that's another thread), but I can't find the schedule that this generates.

Zones do generate a finish schedule, no? What would I look under to get a schedule that's close to a finish schedule, that I can adapt for my purposes? Can I build a finish schedule?

(the categories of info I'm looking to show in a schedule are: room name, floor finish, n/s/e/w wall finishes, ceiling finish, ceiling height, base molding, crown molding, notes/remarks, and.... a couple other things I'm probly forgetting)

Thank you....

I apologize for my bad pun. [Wall Finish Schedule = Finnish Travel Schedule]

There's a race in Finland every year that celebrates the thieving of women by ancient tribesmen - The Wife Carrying Contest. It is a big event. It of no interest to Americans because it has no ball. [Or drugs as far as i can tell.]

Since I grew up in the midst of Estonian immigrants to Canada, and their home country is otherwise undistinguished, jammed up as it is next to other undistinguished countries Latvia, Lesbia and Lithuania, they need recognition.

The sport is dominated by an Estonian - the man pictured - Margo Uusorg - with his innovative "Estonian Carry" method, running the 285 metre course including water hazard in 56 seconds. To carry 100 pounds through mud and be so quick. Amazing! He is an athlete. The winner gets the wife's weight in beer. Johnny Cash was right: give a man a woman's name and see him excel!
When I was in Sydney, Australia last year, the morning show featured the Australian team demonstrating their carry technique. It is a new, world-class sport.

I altered a free zone stamp that I downloaded a while ago. I altered the object by adding and deleting parameters. Attached is this zone object (to be placed in your library) and the Finish Schedule (.xml) that you need to import during the creation of your room finish schedule.

Rengarch,

I have reviewed your schedule and zone stamp and really like what you have done. Your schedule appears that it will work well for complex projects.

I have attached a screen-shot of a proposed schedule for more basic projects that I think can be somewhat effective, but not as complete as yours.

I know how to add columns to the interactive schedule, but what modifications will be required to the zone stamp to make it appear as in the attached image, with 5 or 6 columns separated by vertical lines depicting the material codes (2 or 3 codes need to be added)? Also in the listing box, the material code could be broken up into multiple rows if necessary. The material codes entered in the zone stamp parameters (totaling 5 or 6) are required to be scheduled.

Finally, it would be nice to switch on/off the listing box below the room name using MVO, so that the box could be on for a finish plan view set, and off for a typical floor plan view.

Any thoughs will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, only Graphisoft can add MVOs. Unless they make the ability to make your own or add "show finish box in Zones", it's not possible.

Sorry, but what does MVO stand for?

MVO = Model View Options.

Thank you Tom for your comments.

I will sincerely appreciate it if someone gifted in modifying the script of the default zone stamp can suggest a way to change the 3 fields of material code to 5. Further, if column division lines can be added to the listing box located below the room name. Please refer to my earlier post.

Thanks, Scott

I was not able to toggle on/off in Model View Options. You need to figure that one out yourself. You can change the headings under the schedule. Hope this helps you.
