Problem is as follows:
drew Grid elements (GE) in plan view, set to "show on all stories" as always. In AC is ok. Export to IFC, open in Revit - GEs only show up on the same floor plan (first floor) I drew them on.
When I drew one GE on another floor, it shows up on that floor (in Revit), but not on the first floor (or other floors for that matter).
What am I missing here - sth in the export settings or any other ideas?
TIA

The grid as an element exists in the project only as a single instance. If you place it on the 1st floor, it is going to be "geometricaly" only on that floor, hence the reason why you don't see it in IFC on other stories.
In Archicad you see it in all Stories because it creates a graphical dummy of that element from the first floor. It is like with stairs (show above or below currenty storey) or with walls (show on all relevant stories).
Btw. in IFC the grid that exists only once in the file, has a special parameter which is like a footprint or a 2D annotation on each floor. So in IFC you see the grid also on each floor.

This is a Revit issue, you will need to select grids in Revit and edit the range of each grid element

To have the grids display in all levels in Revit you will need to perform the following steps in Revit:
