I got problem when i transfer data from archicad to viz

i try to transfer data to viz though "save as " and set file formate to be 3ds.but when i import it in viz , i loose the material and can not attach the matterial on in viz .also i try to save as *.dwg.it also can not assigned the material to the model.who can help me ? i am realialy need help,because i am going to use viz to do the render for my project.thanks a lot.by the way ,i have try to use some plug in already ,but it does not help.

Please post the screen shot of your 3ds export settings.

Try this forum's search option. I've answered it allready several times.

If you want texture mapping to survive, use 3ds and not DWG.
