Hello, @Minh Nguyen and others responsible for the topic
As long as the IFC schema has evolved during the last few years, including new domains but also refining the building one (including Architecture, Structural and Distribution elements, see IFC4.3.1.0 Documentation (buildingsmart.org - Updates from 4.3.1.x might be used as input into the I..., I'd like to ask which is the plan or the roadmap milestone to implement import/export for the IFC 4.3 TC1 already in ISO voting process.
We'll stay tuned for your feedback,
Kind regards,
David

@davdelven Minh is no longer with Graphisoft. But, your question will perhaps be answered in a little over 12 hours at the online Building Together event on Digital Collaboration:
Hopefully, if you are not already registered, you might see this message and register in time to attend and ask your question in the text chat, just in case it is not addressed. The agenda shows 30 minutes at the end for live questions and answers.

They gave an answer, somehow like:
Carlos Cordeiro said: "The IFC4.3 is mainly focused on Infrastructure domains, and Archicad is just for building domains. We'll stay focused on which are the workflows that our users demand from the building domain that requires the use of an extended version of the current IFC4 ADD2 TC1, for future implementations."
In my opinion, they should not forget that IFC schema progress has a domain accumulative model. That means the building domain is also evolved in newer versions. Only due to that behaviour, the latest version should be always included as a high-priority feature to implement.
We hope to see soon also bSDD and IDS implementations. AECO industry is moving, and Architects' reality is too.

'IfcBuildingElement' supertype also changed to 'IfcBuiltElement' in IFC4X3. So upgrade is a must for further compatibility.
