IS Headline Settings

When I originally set up this IS, I wanted the first three schedule fields to appear in the headlines -- I think I did this via Headline Settings... -- I have since eliminated schedule field three, and want to use the first two schedule fields as a headline. When I revisit Headline Settings... I am only given the option to use "The first schedule field", which does nothing. Once one merges more than one field into a headline, can that not be redefined? Am I going to have to recreate my IS?

Here is a screen shot of the re-created IS, along with the limited options within the Headline Settings dialog.

Here is a screen shot of a brand-new IS -- note the multiple options in the Headline Settings. I can't figure out at what point the options become limited -- I've tried Sending & Receiving and rebooting AC, but I still have multiple options in the brand-new IS, but limited options in the IS I created yesterday. I have not tried shutting down completely, maybe when I have the time...

I couldn't reproduce the problem on PC, didn't try the mac, but Murphy's law it will happen as soon as I finish this post.

I was wondering, in the headline when you have more than one field, if it is in bold you have a comma between, if not bold a period. Where is this setting?

This distinction does not occur in AC11, maybe this is new in AC12? In AC11, there is no setting to control the "delimiter" (or the character between the two fields) -- we run a Find and Replace in Excel to get rid of them.

Thanks, I didn't know what it was called. I used AC11 to match your problem. Hmmm

Where are you running the find & select?

Excel -- as we all know, IS formatting is very limited -- these FF&E schedules are exported to a pre-formatted Excel template, and the worksheets printed and included in the Specifications.

OK, thought you were doing it in AC.
Is there a way to edit this in AC?

Not in AC11 -- AC12, I don't know.

Thank you Laura.
I thought you could only use the first field as the headline.
I can see a use for this already.

I can't be of much help here.
The only time I have just the option for the first field is if a schedule only has 2 fields in total - which is obviously not the case with your schedule.
