I just upgraded to Archicad 15 SE partly because I have a client who documented a building in Solidworks as an IFC assembly. I tried opening his IFC on the plan view but the result is a side view (IFC object- part of a group).
The 3-D object is there but I don't know how tho generate plans from this IFC model.
How can I take his Solidworks generated IFC and create working plans and sections in Archicad?
I also tried merging it with similar results.
