Insert a door into Archiglazing object

How do you insert a door/entrance into an Archiglazing object?
I have a greenhouse built with Archiglazing with gable ends and I need to slip a door onto the gable ends.
Archiglazing is not friendly to editing after the fact I've found.

Make a wall the same size as the door, put the door in it, SEO it out of ArchiGlazing.
