Could someone please remind me how to install the full Calculation Menu?

I think that I can answer my own question. There is no 'Calculation Menu'. Instead, one can, in the Work Environment/Menus, add list and database commands to an existing menu to create the Calculation criteria.

Is there a better way?

You can turn those functions on in Work Environment, but I think you would be better off building a tool bar. That's all I ever use and need, and I do use the Calc function all the time.
