Is it possible to extract 3d data from .dwg file using AC

it's saved as a .dwg but has 3d data. I opened it in SolidWorks eDrawings to verify that the 3d exist (It does, I'll attach a screenshot of it). I tried opening it in various ways in AC 11 but no success.
It's not that big of a deal but I was just wondering if its possible using nothing but ArchiCAD. I'll attach the .dwg file on the next post.

The dwg file that you have posted contains ACIS solid data.
In ArchiCAD 12 you can import ACIS solids and convert them into objects.
Use the import blocks from DWG/DXF option from the file menu. You need to specify a translator then in the custom functions section / open extras you will see an option for 3D solid (convert to GDL object).
This however doesn't appear until you click the reload function!!
Tick this and the object will be created.
