Parameters for listing

Hi

Attached is a screen shot of door parameters for listing. Does anyone know if and how you can change them?

Thanks

I'm not sure of the exact process but changing these parameters would require some knowledge of GDL to go in and change the script. I don't have AC11 yet but in AC9 there are user defined parameters down below the ones that you show in your screen shot. Maybe you have and could use those.

Thanks

Yes their actually the ones I want to change. I'm trying to put more information into my door schedule so I was trying to change the 'user defined' names to something more specific. I'm working in Version 11

I've been looking at the script but haven't figured out a way to change them. I do know however that you can create your own parameter and name it whatever you want. You can add it to the list and use it for listing.

ok. How do I do that?

Do you know how to open a library part to edit the script?

You don't need to alter the script to add Listing Parameters. You can either add new parameters via the Parameter screen of the GDL dialog, or rename the existing listing parameters.

You need to do this for each door object (a lot of work) or the associated Subtype (although this later option requires you to reassociate the door object with the subtype, changing other parameters that may then need to be reset -- not recommended unless you know what you're doing).

The parameter screen (note the Subtype in the upper left of the dialog (just right of the Preview Picture)).

You're right Laura you don't have to change the script(bad wording on my part). What I have'nt figured out is how to change the parameters that are in the blue font. That's why I suggested making a new parameter.

I'm pretty new to Archicad. How do I get to the parameter screen. I can get there with Cadimage doors but not archicad doors. File>Libraries and Objects> Open Object....but then I cant find Archicad doors as you have shown. Also I think I do want to change the blue text.
