Project Index in wrong order

A strange thing happened when I moved from AC21 to AC22.

It seems that my Project Indexes that had worked correctly in AC21 and now in the wrong order in AC22.

See attached.

The Project Index is sorting by Subset name alphabetically, not Layout ID (A400....A100...etc.), despite the little arrow indicating the order should be determined by the Layout ID.

Has anyone come across this before?

major bug that was not fixed in the Beta though they are "working" on it. The problem is that when you select "headline" then the index sorts alphabetically by that column regardless of whatever setting you select.

Workaround is to create multiple small Indices instead of one long one following the layout book.

Still very unhappy about this bug.

Thanks ejorlon. So it's a confirmed bug?

Can you explain the workaround? What do you mean multiple small indicies?

Yep.
Example is that the sequence for US Layouts is G-XX, A-01 Floor Plans, A-02 Elevations, A-03 Sections and in my case this means that I have Subsets called General, Floor Plans, Sections, etc

Prior to this bug if you didn't specify a sorting option the index would follow Layout Book order (with headline selected for the folders) and this meant that you could have one index that matched LB.

Since that cannot be done now then you will need to create an index per each subset and arranged them in the Layout.
