I wanted to try the BIMmtools addon since my 28 license is finally updated and it was announced as a top addition for cloudpoint workflow. But no luck. Reading BIMmtools manual it says that import option is only active when a license is detected. And searching in the license options of the addon, nothing seems to exist. Am I missing something? How do I activate the addon?

Hi Roger C,
To activate your BIMmTool Lite license you need to create a new BIMmTool account by clicking on Lite/Test Version HERE
You will then receive an email to Activate your account. When your are in your Account page you must Select Distributor from a dropdown (BIMm Solutions GmbH) and Submit.
3 options will appear, you must choose Activate Lite License and click the button below. A message will appear (Lite license activated successfully!) You will get an activaton email for the new license. Activate account will ask to write down your password again.
Open your Archicad and go to BIMmTool menu> License info, the license will appear and you will have to click on the Activate License button for the State changes to active.
Regards.
Disclaimer: I am not 100% sure about the steps I followed but it was kind of it.

Hi Ricardo
I'm having similar problems. I have already set up an account and activated the Lite version online, however, the license information is not shown in the add-on, nor is it giving me the option to activate the license as none of the buttons are working. It appears to be an overly complicated process. Do you have any suggestions as the company doesn't seem to offer much guidance?
Thanks
Mike
