Using the Element ID Manager to Re-number ID

What does the Element ID manager use to determine number ordering of windows?

I thought that it went in a counter-clockwise direction around plan or maybe Clockwise, but my most resent file was numbered from Largest to Smallest.

It uses the sort order of the criteria specified. It is unable to do a counterclockwise (or clockwise) numbering ... AC does not have any kind of geometry 'auto detection' filter to figure out that kind of thing. (In years past, there were numerous threads here from people doing commercial work who needed their ID's numbered in that way.)

Cheers,

Jay,

This video tip from Eric Bobrow might illuminate more on the subject. It is a good one. Here is the link: http://www.actemplate.com/video-tips/set-ids/
