Graphisoft seems very happy to tell us all about them, but not how to buy them or how much they cost.

I have e-mailed and talked on the telephone with Graphisoft representatives who are going to send me this information.
On the phone I was able to determine that the cost is about twice what ArchiCAD 10 is but that it may be available as an upgrade from Archicad 10 for about 1/2 of that price. There may also be a Light version available.

I do not know which (if any) of these add-ons can be purchased separately, or if you need to buy the entire suit of these products.

Perhaps it is a good time for the moderator to add a new category to the Forum Index for "Constructor 2007" so those who are using it can share with us what they know about it.

I take it back. There is no need for a catagory for the Constructor.

The number of users on this forum who are using it is probalby less than 10.

no - you are right: there IS a need for a category that brings construction services issues to the fore-front of our attention. otherwise this might become a reality all too soon . . .

but don't forget that 'constructor' is still primarily archicad underneath - and the same problems and workarounds that are needed in constructor are being discussed under the 'archicad' banner.

what's needed is somewhere that the place of the model can be talked about in construction terms. and a place that can open the eyes of the archicad using architects to a whole new service that there is the potential to offer . . . before someone else does!

Here is some pricing informaion.

It is specifically for me so other prices will vary. This is just a sample of some prices that apply to my situation.

I can upgrade to Constructor for $4,000. The anual subscription fee is $1440, less a pro-rated discount for the time I still have on my current Archicad 10 subscription. I thougt that was a very nice gesture on their part. This pricing seems fair to me and a very good value. these products are outstanding.

They provided very fast and detailed responce to all of my questoins in both e-mail and phone calls. The product is sold directly through Graphisoft. Service (as expected) is top-notch.

Product is really very good.
