WibuKey and CodeMeter Driver download - do I need these?

Hi
Can someone tell me what exactly is a wibu key or a codemeter....and wether I need to download these drivers at all?
I am a student working from home so my network is just me and my PC!

If you are a student you don't need those drivers. They are for the commercial version of AC.
