We don't use the Door Builder -- this object does not work with the IS (so these doors are not included in our Door Schedule).
I recommend Door/Window Builder. It can be tedious to learn, but once you save some favorites, it's easy.

As much as I complain about them, I'd recommend the GS doors & windows over an add-on unless there's something you really need to do that you cannot. Is there something you want to do that you cannot do with the GS doors?

I was also wondering how to do a cased opening and garage doors with the top corners angled.

Another thing I wanted to do was make an eyebrow window this size I was able to change the width but when I changed the height got another error message (second screen shot)Did anyone ever resolve the error in line 840? I am attempting a similar eyebrow window but run into the same wall as BAS. I need it to be 5' wide and 14.625" tall.
