best OS option for AC13 on PC?

i've just purchased a new workstation box for home with the following specs:

# Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 ((Quad Core) 2.33GHz/4MB L2 Cache/1333MHz FSB)
# 6GB DDR3 RAM
# 1TB 7200rpm SATA HDD
# NVIDIA GeForce GT220 (1GB dedicated)
# Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed

can anyone on the forum offer advice as to my best course of action for running archicad,

e.g. upgrade to windows 7 64-bit;
install xp pro (32 or 64-bit);
keep the vista os.

one of my main concerns is compatability of files (especially TW files) with office network which is predominantly XP pro.

any suggestions/experience appreciated.

Definitely upgrade it to Windows 7 Pro, no question about it.

It's blisteringly fast, solid as a rock and a joy to use. No compatibility problems with file sharing to or from other Windows versions either.

Yes, I second that, your best option is probably Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium or better.
