Live Connection Curtain Wall Setting

Hello,

I was testing a few things in Live Connection to accelerate my firm's SD modeling process, and found that "Curtain Wall" component is very useful except it is almost impossible to control all the settings in Grasshopper (too many variables).

And then I came up with this idea that I could probably complete the settings in ArchiCAD and deconstruct the curtain wall in GH to extract and apply only the settings to whatever shape I design. This may be a dumb idea because apparently the algorithm is not working, but it will be really nice if this actually works since we have the fancy new curtain wall tool in ArchiCAD 22.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve.

This trick should work to take settings from a piece of curtain wall from AC.

However, I find CW very slow to work with in terms of performance. It depends on the situation but sometimes is better to use basic tools to model CW. It's less heavy and since you have GH_Conncection its easier to control this kind of workflow.
