While working on a project, I had trouble copying the settings of a door panel from one curtain wall to another. I searched the community forum and found this thread: https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Modeling/Transfer-Curtain-Wall-Custom-Panel-Properties/td-p/3384.... I had the same issue as Tincan561— the Favorites settings didn’t seem to transfer to the desired panel.
While experimenting with the settings, I found that if I accessed the Favorites panel from the Curtain Wall Tool settings dialog and tried to insert the saved settings that way, it didn’t work. However, if I opened the Favorites menu from Window > Palettes and inserted the settings from there, it worked.
I’m not sure why this happens—whether it’s a feature, a bug, or if I’m just missing something—but this method seems to be a workaround.
