variable array values

Any ideas of varying the value lists in a single array?
Can't use:
values "array_name[1][1]" .....
values "array_name[1][2]" .....

You only can use values "array_name" for the whole array, not for single array elements. I think it is for the same reason as GLOB_MODPAR_NAME and arrays: it is not a feature Graphisoft implemented.
But for me: I would both like to have.
