3D-view shows a blanc on layout

Hi,

For some reason some of the 3D-views are blanc when placed on a layout, but if I switch them for a different 3D-style, they do show up. I've noticed that views rendered in the Vectoral Engine work fine, while the ones in Hardware Acceleration stay blanc. I know there has been a lot of posting about the issue, but to my knowledge not with this particular setting. Of course I tried changing the Drawing Selection Settings (resizing, origin, etc), but nothing works.

Does the hardware acceleration setting work in the actual 3D model window?

You see the model there just fine?

If not then it is probably a video card/driver issue.

If it does show in 3D, right mouse click and 'save view and place on layout' (I am not sure if that is how you created the view before, but that should work).

If the drawing on the layout is still empty, select it and set it to 'Fit to frame'.

After that, I am out of ideas.

Thanks Barry, but unfortunately it remains the same issue.

The 3D-image works fine in the 3D-model window and I created multiple views in different 3D-styles. As I described, some views can be placed on the layout, others remain blanc/empty. The only difference I can make out is the render engine..

Hi, I have a similar issue.

The 3D views show just fine in the 3D window, but when placed on a layout they are blanc. Changing the engine works, but it's no solution as the textures are gone and the overall image is bad. I have never experienced this before.

this is an ancient bug that has never been resolved. I think there was an update that fixed it; but it still resurfaces.
its weird, but restarting your computer usually fixes it (until it the next time it happens)

Any chance that the model is located far from the Project Origin? That can also cause things to not appear on Layouts.
