No what you see in 3D is what you will end up with in a 3D Document.
It is basically just a snapshot of the 3D model from a certain view point with cutting planes.
The 2D plan is a symbolic view and not an actual view of the 3D model which is why you can have extra information such as door swings.
I think the best you can do is to 'open' the door in 3D via its parameters so at least you will see the door leaf.
