Hello,
We are an organization with over 50 Archicad users. We are experiencing a problem that affects multiple users with different pcs. When working (both in local files and teamwork Bimcloud SaaS or local) and users try to navigate into the layouts, when they select a layout to open (from a list of multiple layouts) the program freezes with the wheel turning. This might last from 10-30 minutes at times. Then it loads. Selecting a different layout does exactly the same thing and it becomes virtually impossible to work. This problem has become unmanageable at this level.
We've updated to latest version of Archicad 28 INT ( i think its 4001) . All pcs running windows 11 pro, with updated NVIDIA drivers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Operating system used: Windows Multiple

Jevht did you found a workaround for this?

Unfortunately, there seems to be no workaround. Best thing to do just to use default sheet index which set to be "Split Drawing to Mutiple Layouts". I have tried to delete the sheet index, but the problem still occurs

I had the same problem: Archicad freezes, but when I move my cursor over some elements, it still shows details and information. However, I can’t click any buttons. The only way to get out is to spam the ESC key or something similar to close the layout. Once the layout closes, Archicad works normally again. In my project, I had scale bars placed in a separate worksheet, which were used on every layout. When I checked the Drawing Manager, it showed all of them as missing, but Archicad kept trying to load them anyway. I re-linked all of them to my worksheet file again, and that fixed the problem.

I don't know if you found a solution.
I found this post and it helped a bit for me:

the solution was from Karl Ottenstein

Also, do not check the box to store drawings in the file. This can consume a huge amount of space. The can speed up the display of a layout, but typically the drawing will be updated anyway.
