Angled dimensioning on Elevations or Building Sections

We have never had the need to add angled dimensions on Elevations or Building Sections before the project we are working on now.

In plan mode, the Angle Dimension tool works as expected by clicking on two intersecting walls, then third click produces the angle in degrees between the two walls.

However, the tools seems not to work at all on Elevation or Building Sections, unless we are completely missing the technique to do so. Is there a completely different tool or technique for this task or is the ability to do so impossible?

For angle dimension you need to specify two lines. In floor plan, when you click on the wall or line it understand its geometry and this why in total you need three clicks. But in elevation the tool does not understand geometry of autogenerated wall projections. It's not a line and it's not a wall anymore for the tool - it's an edge of something. So, you need to define two lines in between which an angle dimension you need to show, manually. And for that you need five clicks - two to determine each line. And fifth for marker position.

Did you try define it with 4 points? (2 for each segment)

Braza, no we were only clicking once on each element, as you would in plan view. Your question/advice was spot on and worked! Thank You!
