Hello,
I'm working a single family house that is used multiple times on our site and this one plan has multiple basement variations. I've run into an issue with autotext inside of modules loosing their reference. To give an example, I have leader text that has a description and at the end I have "refer to detail 2/D1". The 2 and D1 is autotext set from the detail sheet. I then publish this module. The new module gets inserted into a different Archicad file to manage the basement conditions. In the 2nd Archicad file the autotext reference is lost. This approach has worked on previous files and I'm not sure why this one would be different. Is there a hidden setting that I need to change?

A guess:
Is the module saved as a PLN file or a MOD file?
MOD filers contain less data, that may be the reason for this behavior.

They are saved as mod files.
I think I might have found what is going on. When setting up the files I had started in one archicad file and got as much information in that file as I could. Which included setting up the detail sheets. Then when I went to make the second archicad file of the basement variations, I did a save as of the first file and deleted everything out of it and inserted the module. In that instance the module kept the autotext reference. I'm guessing there is some hidden archicad memory that made that work.
The instances where this is not working. The two files were not a copy of each other or the details were not set up until much later in the process. This will be a big issue since our details are never the first thing we set up in a file and can change.
I think our solution going forward is to keep everything in one file if we want autotext to work in the modules.
