Boundaries

AC24 is creating a boundary when I open detail drawings and sections. I mean it puts the drawing portion on a white patch and puts a slighty shaded background around it. Looks like creating movable vertical and horizontal cutting planes through section (I've coloured the border to make it clear). But....I haven't asked for this, want to know how it happened and how I can turn it off. Archicad does these things.

That is just showing you the limits as set in your section settings.
Anything outside of that white area will not show as part of your section.

If you don't want to see the boundary, right click in the open section and click on 'Section Range' to turn it on/off.
