License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I doubt that it is not possible to achieve this without putting your hands inside the language GDL purpose I hope to be wrong and have a notification soon about the solution

i'm afraid that you are probably correct.
I don't understand sometimes how "certain" tags have certain functionalities (like this tag) but when you switch the tag appearance.....they've removed a very NEEDED functionality?....I just don't get it.

ALL tags should function ALL in the same way. that you can rotate them, change the location of them, change fonts, etc.....yet some tag types...just don't do certain things....................WHY GS? WHY?

It's not a good commercial aim perhaps
I advice you to use a good personnal label (since AC21) to do what you want

Has nothing to do with the "aim"....but has everything to do with what the client (He who Pays) wants to see on the documents.

Here in the U.S.A. there are many many builders and architects who just want to "see" the label '3'-0" x 6'-8" as the door size for example and that door tag be intelligent. Sometimes I find myself going thru hoops for the oddest things.....(like this for example) where a tag should work no matter WHAT tag you place and the user should be able to rotate it, move it, place the tag "ANYWHERE" on the plans.....not be limited to having this specific tag only be horizontal or vertical but that it wont move AWAY from the door itself.

Just find it odd at times the programming. It's like these programmers aren't talking to each other yet they are sitting right next to each other.

The thing with quite a few things in AC is that they are not all made to the same standards. This is primarily the case with the localised libraries. If you look through some objects, you will see that some of them utilise the the macro library and are scripted to have similar functions to the defaults. Others are almost like someone saved a box containing autotext as a label. Some do not even work, like this one steel stair which has a 3D that is offset from it's origin by it's width so that it's 2D location and 3D hotspots do not line up with the 3D location... The licensing of GS objects also does not help this as people cannot just fix and/or improve these objects then share them around or provide to GS as a possible official update to said objects.

This is a pretty old post and I've not seen him on this board for quite a while,
but may be worth a try.
