Default order

Polar Bear
Booster

Hello,

When i select all and i do default order, some foundation walls are coming on top of the actual wall i am cutting across.  Why is that?  It's annoying as i have to resend it to bottom.

And can someone tell me one good useful usage of order setting ?  Revit doesn't have it and logic prevail...

Thanks

Display order:  After resetting all the element display order: why are some walls are still coming below the floor???

I have to bring it forward and it further leads to other problems...

Thank you

I'd be guessing the slab is on the storey above the wall?

If the slab and the wall are in the same storey, then the default order is the slab will show below the wall.

But if the slab is from the storey above, and set to show one storey down, it makes sense that it will be above the wall on the storey below.
